Who we are

What we collect

When you submit the "Request a quote" contact form, we collect the information you provide: your name, email address, phone number (optional), service area, postcode, and your message describing the job. We do not require you to create an account, and we do not store this data in a database — it is sent directly by email to Roland's Handyman's enquiries inbox for the purpose of responding to your request.

Postcode lookups

When you enter a postcode in the quote form, it is sent to postcodes.io, a free, third-party UK postcode lookup service, in order to estimate any additional travel cost. This lookup happens directly from your browser. We do not control postcodes.io's own data handling; see their website for details.

Cookies and tracking

This site does not use cookies, analytics, or advertising trackers. No data about your visit is collected beyond what you submit through the contact form.

How we use your information

Your contact form details are used solely to respond to your enquiry and, where you go on to book work, to arrange and carry out that work. We do not sell or share your information with third parties for marketing purposes.

Email and hosting

This website and its email are hosted through Namecheap. Enquiry emails are sent via Namecheap Private Email to enquiries@rolandshandyman.co.uk, and remain in that mailbox as part of normal email retention.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR, you have the right to ask what personal data we hold about you, to request a correction, or to ask us to delete it. To do so, contact aaron@hapitech.dev. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) if you believe your data has been mishandled.

We may update this policy if how the site handles data changes. Any updates will be posted on this page.
